Elementary School Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Teaching, or related subject.
- Three to five years of experience teaching in an Elementary School or Middle School setting.
- Experience teaching reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in both subject matter and progressive educational methodology.
- Utilizes a constructive approach to support student discovery, active learning, and collaboration
- Develops strong, meaningful relationships with students and their families.
- Establishes clear and consistent standards and expectations.
- Addresses a range of learning needs through flexible and culturally responsive teaching
- Provides regular and supportive feedback.
- Employs multiple forms of assessment, including informal and formal.
- Meets regularly with a grade-level partner, content specialists, and admin to create teaching and learning aligned with the school’s mission and core beliefs.
- Proactively communicates with families to best serve the interests of students.
- Deals with conflict in ways intended to solve problems, restore relationships, and support a student’s growth and development.
- Engages in ongoing professional development to develop and elevate curriculum and pedagogy in alignment with the school’s core values and beliefs.
- Conducts parent conferences twice a year and completes progress reports three times a year.
- Supervises and provides for the general welfare of students during the school day, on school trips, and during school activities.
- Participates in admission screening and prospective parent events
- Assists with the school budget process and the creation of class lists.
- Actively engages in the many facets of school life.

Salary Range: $71,622-$88,550
